Kim Knox, Director of Operations, is Retiring

Kim Knox

After more than twenty-eight years of dedicated service to PACE, Kim Knox, Director of Operations is retiring on October 16, 2020. Kim joined PACE in 1992 in a client service delivery role.

At the time, there were three PACE supportive housing programs.  Today, there are nine supportive housing programs, a large outreach program and tailored supports for individuals living with acquired brain injuries and Huntington Disease.  As PACE continued to grow over time through successful integrations, Kim’s role transitioned and expanded to include managing all administrative functions including Human Resources, Finance, IT, Scheduling and Office Management.  Regardless of which role Kim held, her core passion remained the same – ensuring the delivery of high quality client services. Kim explains, “For me PACE has always been about the people and about the concept of everyone having the same rights.  In recent days and weeks I have heard from clients, staff and partners and it has helped remind me what all these years have been about - the dignity for all of us to have the right to “Live Your Life”.“

I want to thank Kim for her unwavering commitment to PACE and for being a champion of independent living” shared Laura Visser, Chief Executive Officer.  “Kim has held many progressive roles at PACE and has made a positive impact for clients, staff, the organization and partners through each.  Her contributions have been fundamental to the growth, evolution and ongoing strength and success of the organization – and her passion, humour and genuine approach will be missed by all who had the privilege of working with Kim”. Please join all of us at PACE in wishing Kim all the best in her retirement and her future endeavours.
