PACE, in partnership with VPI Working Solutions, are hosting a hiring event

DATE:               Tuesday July 9th

TIME:                10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

We’re hiring part-time Independent Living Assistants to work in the Greater Toronto Area. 

Candidates must be certified PSWs with valid first aid and CPR.  Access to a vehicle is an asset but not required.

 

Art in The City - Art Market

Location:  Joanne Wilson Program

20 Palace Street - Main Floor Amenity Room

A show of creativity and an opportunity to buy some!  There will be original pieces, as well as art cards for sale.  

Attendant services provided.  Light refreshments will be served.

Huntington Drop-in session

This is a free monthly event for people living with Huntington disease and their family members to socialize and connect with other members of the Huntington’s community.

Lunch is provided
All ages welcome

PACE Variety Day

Open to ALL PACE Clients and Staff (and you can bring a guest) on:

Come and join in on a  fun-filled, free afternoon of food, socializing and a Variety of activities including:

You will socialize and enjoy bowling weekly at Rexdale Bowlerama.

Movie Time

Enjoy a movie and refreshments with your peers! The group will pick the movie. Once a month you will enjoy a movie at the Cineplex Odeon Queensway theatre. Admission is covered; you just have to pay for your refreshments.

Massage Therapy clinic for PACE clients

All PACE Clients are welcome to participate in massage therapy clinics from students in Humber College’s Massage Therapy Program.  All treatments are supervised by a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT), who is also a member of the Humber Massage Therapy faculty.

Location: PACE Head Office – Boardroom

  • 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. and
  • 2:00 - 3:00 p.m.

This is a free event for people living with Huntington's disease (HD) and their family members to socialize and connect with other members of the HD community.

Matt Sanchez, registered Physiotherapist, will speak from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. with our holiday lunch to follow from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.
