Understanding the Brain and Brain Injury

This workshop is geared towards individuals who want to have more knowledge around how the brain works and the way an injury can affect their cognition.  Individuals will also have the opportunity to share their personal stories and experiences with their peers.

Stress Management

This workshop focuses on the different types of stresses individuals face, and how they are coping with those stresses presently.  This group is a place for individuals to discuss their personal stresses with a group of their peers, as well as, receive information regarding health risks, types of stressors and coping strategies.  Tips on stress management will be provided.

Coaches provide opportunities to practice new skills and learn new information through workshops. These can be information based or hands on activities. Workshops can include information and discussions based on home
safety, brain injury, current events and activities such as cooking, exercise, creative writing and many more topics.
