Jan Dymond, Director

Jan Dymond brings several decades of volunteer not-for-profit board, business and political leadership experience to her role as Board Member. 

Currently Jan is a director of the Counselling Foundation of Canada and is a member of the Professional Advisory Committee for Seneca’s Government Relations Program.  She is a former member of the Boards of Trustees of the McMichael Canadian Collection and the National Gallery of Canada as well several other professional groups and academic advisory bodies and has held senior leadership  positions for one of Canada’s mainstream political parties. 

In addition to her volunteer commitment, Jan has over thirty five years of business experience as a public affairs professional, providing strategic communications and government-relations counsel, planning and management support to organizations that were implementing significant change or seeking to influence stakeholder and public opinion.

Jan lives in midtown Toronto with her husband Romy and a pair of silly cats.  Her interests include photography, genealogy and exploring Toronto's many great walking paths and ravines.
