ABI Day program

LOCATION:  The Paula Cassin Learning Centre, 300 New Toronto Street, Unit 1, Toronto ON  M8V 2E8

Enjoy a movie and refreshments with your peers! The group will pick the movie.  Once a month you will enjoy a movie at the Cineplex Odeon Queensway theatre. Admission is covered; you just have to pay for your refreshments.

 

 

PACE and VPI Working Solutions

are hosting a hiring event Thursday August 9th from 10 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at 970 Lawrence Avenue West, Suite 203.

We’re hiring part-time Independent Living Assistants to work in the Greater Toronto Area. .

Candidates must be certified PSWs with valid first aid and CPR.  Driving is an asset but not required.

ABI Day Program

Saturdays:  1:00 - 2:00 pm

You will get a chance to have fun by playing at least four- one line games each week, while practicing your active listening and attention skills. Small prizes will be handed out to each winner.

Challenge your peers and your brain with a variety of different board games including Scrabble, Monopoly, Sequence and many others.

Caregivers Support Group

for the spouse/partner or parent of someone diagnosed with Huntington Disease.  

This session is for the spouse/partner or parent of someone diagnosed with Huntington Disease.  It is hosted by PACE and facilitated by the Huntington Society of Canada's Social Worker (For Toronto and York Region).  It is an opportunity to meet and share with others experiencing life with a family member that has HD.  The intent of the afternoon is to offer a safe and confidential setting to break the isolation and stimulate shared learning for the "caregiver".
